Freya

A friend of Jana's out west forwarded her a link to a social media post with two husky-Malamute pups needing a new home. Some investigation later, the pups were in a bad spot and needed a new home fast.
Jana originally was heading west to pick them up, but a massive wreck later, the pups were brought to Michigan via a network of amazing humans.
Freya is 60% Malamute/40% Siberian, and sister to Thor. She was extremely shy when she arrived and it has been one of Jana's greatest joys to watch her come out of her shell as a sled dog. Freya has amazing drive for a baby sled dog and every run seems to boost her confidence on the trail and at home. She is only slightly smaller than her brother and is happy running in a team position.
